What Is DIAGNOdent?

In Dr. Leo Townsend's office in Elk Grove, CADIAGNOdent is a brand name of decay detecting products with only the best in store. There are two versions of cavity detection, the Classic form, and the Pen form. Both models have individually appealing characteristics and can make the lives of both dentists and patients significantly easier.

What Does This Mean For You?

Let’s start with the DIAGNOdent Classic. The Classic is 90% accurate (which is a big deal), and it can detect problems that even a bitewing x-ray cannot see. This method is very non-invasive, and is implemented in not only dental offices nationwide, but also in dental schools all around as well. We don't take less than the best. The fact that it is super simple to calibrate also makes it much better, since we can operate it with confidence without the help of a technician, and it can take away any doubt about what could come with some diagnoses. This means that when we make a game plan, it is much much less risky than it could have been before.

The DIAGNOdent Pen does much the same thing as the Classic but in a portable version. This has a small screen on the pen itself and also transmits the signal to a remote screen elsewhere. It is even easier to use and is just as easily calibrated. This Pen also increases the confidence with which we can diagnose and is also non-invasive. Both forms can be sterilized and are safe to use for both the dentist and patient. There is no radioactivity produced by either DIAGNOdent product either. This could take a load of wight off your shoulders. This can help you to detect problems early on, which saves time, energy, stress, and money. It also means that you can catch problems that could become much more detrimental later on, let alone painful!
