What Can Cosmetic Dentistry Accomplish?
We know that you have an ideal smile in mind. We can help you get to that point, working side by side with you throughout the entire experience. Cosmetic dentistry combines the health side of dentistry, such as the restoration and strengthening of your teeth, and the visual side of it as well, which simply means we make your smile as radiant as ever. We make sure that each patient is confident and in love with how their smile looks, as well as healthier than ever before! We have all the technology required to help you fall in love with your smile, repairing chips and cracks, stains, and flat-out missing teeth.
What Can Veneers Do?
Veneers can correct chips, cracks, and provide a solution to gaps between teeth as well, whether that gap was there, to begin with or caused by the destruction of another tooth. This is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures because of how much they look just like your natural teeth. These devices are made just for you through our dentistry labs to ensure a perfect fit and absolute confidence in your smile when all is said and done. These porcelain pieces are made from exact impressions of the tooth that they are covering, and after we remove a little bit of the enamel from the tooth, we will carefully bond the addition into place. These pieces are permanent, but they can be damaged, and you should avoid wine and coffee along with other strong and staining foods or beverages, as these pieces are still susceptible to staining.
Are Dental Implants Different?
Dental implants are different in that they replace missing teeth rather than covering damaged teeth. These are cosmetically and structurally appropriate as the missing teeth can leave other teeth space to shift into bad positions, and can cause pain or discomfort when trying to eat. This can also lead to infection or general deterioration of the gums, teeth, and jaw in that general area. Posts, which are like synthetic roots for the implant, are made of biocompatible titanium. These are implanted into your jaw, and the tooth part is placed on top, called a crown, and made of porcelain much like veneers. These can be used to help your natural teeth, or it can also be combined with dentures to give you a very natural looking smile.
